I held my course and did nothing wrong — how am I the one disqualified?
Three overlapped boats passed astern of a starboard-tack boat — an obstruction under Rule 19. The outside overlapped boat held her course and was bumped by the middle boat, yet the outside boat was disqualified: Rule 19.2(b) required her to give the inside boats enough room for the whole group to keep clear of the obstruction. The middle boat was exonerated under Rule 43.1(b) because she was squeezed into the breach. (World Sailing Case 125.)
